KidsID, A Child Safety Program
The Grand Lodge of Minnesota has adopted the national Masonicly supported program known as MasoniChip, but in Minnesota we call it KidsID, a Child Safety Program. Our new program works closely with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children's "Take 25" program, a program that stresses taking time to talk to our kids to help keep them safe.
The new Grand Lodge of Minnesota KidsID Child Safety Program is now in the "Train the Trainer" phase, with training sessions scheduled at the Grand Lodge office in Bloomington on May 22 and June 26, 2010. Once the lodge has attended the train the trainer session they will be eligible to sign up to use the new program. Please contact Gary Odegard in the Grand Lodge office to reserve your spot at one of the two training sessions.
If your lodge is considering hosting the KidsID Child Safety Program it is very important that you review the Minnesota KidsID Process and Procedures Guide, available for download here.
